The yarn is solution dyed before it is woven so the color is uniform throughout. Most convertibles that came with a cloth top were originally Stayfast canvas. Stayfast is more expensive than the vinyl options. This convertible top is a superior product with excellent wrinkle and U.V. resistance. Weatherability is superior and excellent durability and low temperature flexibility.

Description:	1996-1999 BMW Convertible Top Straps Worn and stretched straps prevent the top from folding correctly. If your straps are 3 years old or more it is recommended that the straps be replaced. Failure of either strap may cause premature wear or small holes to appear in the convertible top fabric. We recommend replacing tension straps whenever the convertible top is replaced. Straps are a pair - order one set per car.
